"Still Life - Stilleben”

Magkaisa Mabini Art Collection opened yesterday the art exhibition Still Life - Stilleben at the German Club Manila, Legaspi Village, Makati.

"Still Life - Stilleben” – Filipino Artworks of Oscar Ramos, Paco Gorospe and other mainly self-taught artists.

Magkaisa´s exhibition of Stilllife artworks at the German Club Manila in Makati, Legaspi Village features 18 artworks mainly from self taught artists.

With Oskar Ramos and Paco Gorospe, Mabini artists of the 2nd generation are represented in the exhibit. Especially the Stilllife of the fruits and the flowers in the Stilllife works of Oskar Ramos are inspired due to his several visits and art residencies in Germany.

The different paintings reflecting ladies on canvas are colourful and beautiful additions of the exhibition.The centerpiece of Paco Gorospe, a wonderful stilllife painting was chosen by the curator of the exhibition wisely. Flowers, fruits, humans and pots and glasses are featured on the artworks which will be for viewing for the next 2 months at the German Club and can be visited from 11.00 am to 11.00 pm Mondays to Saturdays.
