Magkaisa - Mabini Art Collection

Our collection of art started more than a quarter of a century ago.

For over 80 years now, Mabini Street, the two-kilometer street located in Ermita, has been the nexus of touristy and artistic activities. In its heyday, it teemed with art galleries and shops, making it Manila’s most colorful alley.

Our strength is the collection of Mabini Masters.

Have a closer look at some of the artworks of the Masters of the Philippine Mabini Art: Fernando Amorsolo Jr., Pedro Amorsolo, Cesar Amorsolo, Francisco “Paco” Gorospe, Isidro Ancheta, and Oscar Navarro.

About us at Magkaisa:

The MAGKAISA collector has been at the heart of the German-Filipino social, cultural, and art scene for a quarter of a century, promoting the Philippines. The cultural journey led to the publication of the book REVISITING MABINI ART, launched in 2013 at the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCAA) in Intramuros, Manila.

Inspired by the talent and resilience of the Mabini artists, we collaborated with and supported self-taught artists and acknowledged masters from the Mabini area.

Feel free to visit our website and other social media channels for further information about the artwork and the books published.
