LEONARDO ZABLAN

Leonardo Zablan was born in August of 1937 in Manila, Philippines. 
 

His first art lessons began under the tutelage of his father, Felix Zablan, a well-known portrait artist. 

Zablan later studied Fine Arts at the University of Santo Tomas, and he began his career as a professional artist in 1960.

Zablan was a very talented painter with an immense versatility that is apparent in the diversity of styles and media in which he worked. His subject matter also reflects a wide range of interests which include landscapes, seascapes, still life, abstracts and collages.

All of the paintings of Zablan are alive with rich texture and sensual color applied with both brush and palette knife.

Leonardo Zablen already passed away in the year 1987.
