BENJAMIN SAN MIGUEL

Benjamin (Bensan) San Miguel is another notable artist from the San Miguel clan He took up BA in Fine Arts, Major in Painting from Philippine Women's University, 1970.
In 1970, he was recognized as the country's top new artist when he was one of the awardees of the National On-the-Spot Oil Painting Competition, sponsored by Shell Philippines. In the same year he was the top ten awardee of the National Student Art Competition Since then he has held several exhibitions all over the country. Including a very successful one-man show in the Legaspi City Museum last December 2000.
